Our daughters are only under our roofs for a short while longer. Not because we want them to go, but because of their natural inclination towards freedom and exploration.

What do we want them to know about sexuality and sensuality — before they move out into the world?

What do we want them to know about sexuality and sensuality — before they move out into the world?

While sexuality is starting to be taught to women – most people are teaching material sexuality.

Few people are teaching holistic, embodied sexuality for life-long growth and exploration.

And even fewer people are teaching this AS young women are budding into their sexuality.

A lot of us as adult women are learning these concepts now – retroactively 10, 20, 50 years later of our own sexual awakening.

The intention of Innocence of Eros is...

  • So that our young women understand what advocacy, voice and autonomy for their bodies means; so that they may be sexually empowered and wield this with integrity.
  • So that we as Mothers receive the sexual education we wish we would have had growing up; this is an invitation to deepen our own erotic connection at this juncture of life.
  • To weave sexual health into each of our lineages, creating a legacy of generational wealth.

Leydon Thornton

Leydon Thornton

Lena is a devoted guide and mentor for girls as they enter and navigate the tender threshold of puberty. She creates a grounded, compassionate environment where girls can understand their changing bodies with confidence, respect, and self-trust.

Her approach to sex education is shaped by over thirteen years of experience integrating nature-based education, scientific study, birth training, and somatic practices. Through this holistic lens, Lena supports girls in developing a healthy, embodied, and respectful relationship with their bodies and emerging sexuality.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Lena brings a strong foundation in anatomy, nervous system regulation, and body literacy, informing a thoughtful and developmentally sensitive teaching style. She weaves this with her lifelong studies in Qi Gong, Homeopathy, Energy Medicine, Tantra, and the mythopoetic journey of the soul.

After years of working with adult women and repeatedly hearing, “I wish I had learned this as a teen,” Lena felt called to focus on the delicate and powerful initiation into womanhood.

She is the curator of the New Moon Mystery School, a coming-of-age program teaching adolescent girls the physiological intelligence, cyclical wisdom, and foundational nourishment of menarche (first menstrual cycle) and menstruation. She also offers after-school and weekend programs in her local community, providing holistic education that thoughtfully extends beyond conventional sex ed and is rooted in consent, self-respect, and embodied awareness.

Rachelle Seliga

Rachelle Seliga

Rachelle Seliga is a Mother to her 15-year old daughter, and a Midwife; dedicated to midwifing a cultural shift through her teachings, trainings, and hands-on experiences.

Rachelle lives and works from the understanding that our physiologic design IS our divine design, which IS our "blueprint," which ARE our original instructions. These different ways to say the SAME thing acknowledge that there is an order, a structure, a map to LIFE that supersedes human will; it is Nature's Design. Nature's Design is Rachelle's Greatest mentor, and her work is grounded in Nature's Thriving Life Principles.

Rachelle is a woman enamored with LIFE and with a burning fire to live into potential. She is currently apprenticing the idea that Ram Dass shared "The world is perfect as it is, including our desire to change it.” This paradox speaks to the heart of Rachelle’s approach: surrendering to what Life asks of us, while holding the focused and directional prayer of our heart's desires. She values Aliveness, Relationships, Beauty, and Action.

Rachelle is the Creator & Director of INNATE Postpartum Care - Certification Training, which has trained hundreds of practitioners, who offer postpartum care to thousands of families worldwide.

Jess Caldwell

Jess Caldwell is the Founder and lead instructor of Wildkind Outdoors. She is a wilderness survival instructor and curates outdoor adventures, nature-based education courses and rewilding retreats. With her unique background in holistic health, mindfulness training and guided nature immersion experiences in the backcountry, Jess is an advocate for living with greater ALIVENESS and cultivating resilience for fearlessly and compassionately navigating the many challenges of our modern world.

Jess is also the Founder of Wildkind Academy, a nature-inspired rewilding & leadership school for teens & young adults. Wildkind Academy is a nonprofit organization guiding teens through transformational experiences that deepen their connection to the natural world. We empower the next generation of changemakers to lead with courage, confidence and connection.

Jess completed a 50-day advanced immersion in the mountains of Colorado while living in a primitive shelter that she built from natural materials. She forged for wild food, honed in her skills of firecraft, harvested water and experienced profound joy mastering the hard skills that anchor us to our primal roots. After the successful completion of her seven-day solo challenge with only a knife, a ferro rod and the clothes on her back, Jess experienced what she describes as embodied ALIVENESS. She has a fierce inner fire that fueled by her passion to support others on their rewilding journey.

"I have discovered that getting offline and immersed in the wonders of nature have been crucial to navigating modern stressors with more resiliency. As a parent of two young men, I am well-versed in the many challenges that we are all facing as we consider the next generation and how our modern lifestyles can be detrimental to our mind, body Spirit and planet. In this unique and challenging time of global uncertainty, there is freedom and expansiveness through the inward journey of self-discovery and our personal engagement with the elements and natural world. Nature humbles us, she teaches us and we become more confident, compassionate and reverent humans in her presence".

Innocence of Eros is an opportunity to....

  • Feel solidarity that our daughter’s BECOMING is being held not only by us as Mothers – but by other mature women, skilled in sexual and sensual arts.
  • Be present with the grief, the fear, the worry — the totality of what it means to have a DAUGHTER — in community.
  • Activate and continue to evolve ourselves as women, as Mothers, so that we may support the exaltation of our respective Mother-daughter dyads.

During the teen years, we believe it is imperative our daughters learn and relate to the following layers of being an embodied woman:

  • Remaining intact with the pleasure of aliveness.
  • Learning the embodied language of consent.
  • Knowing your unique relationship to your body, to pleasure, your unique signature – being able to attune to its shifts.
  • How to explore your sweet mystery of being a Woman. Listening to the messages from your body; trusting the feedback from your body.
  • The anatomy and geography of pleasure – the physiologic design of pleasure.
  • The capacity that pleasure has to facilitate healing, growth, connection.
  • Channeling and harnessing the immense amount of energy that moves through us.

As Mothers, we believe it is imperative that we as women increasingly develop our capacity to learn and relate to:

  • The dynamism of giving and receiving pleasure.
  • The difference between tension based pleasure versus relaxed based pleasure.
  • The foundational prerequisites of sexual maturation.
  • Habituated orgasm to the ecstasy of orgasmicness.
  • Invitation and initiation for your partner.
  • The Valley of Yin: breath, touch, sound for the feminine nervous system.
  • Cervix Heart Coherence.

More than ever we need women to come into the fullness of their sexual power, for more beauty, for Truth, for Love.

The feminine psyche has been under attack for a long time.

We can’t control what’s going on in the world – but we can impact our female sexuality and our family systems - for massive global, rippling effects.
