Our Facilitators
Leydon Thornton
Lena is a devoted guide and mentor for girls as they enter and navigate the tender threshold of puberty. She creates a grounded, compassionate environment where girls can understand their changing bodies with confidence, respect, and self-trust.
Her approach to sex education is shaped by over thirteen years of experience integrating nature-based education, scientific study, birth training, and somatic practices. Through this holistic lens, Lena supports girls in developing a healthy, embodied, and respectful relationship with their bodies and emerging sexuality.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Lena brings a strong foundation in anatomy, nervous system regulation, and body literacy, informing a thoughtful and developmentally sensitive teaching style. She weaves this with her lifelong studies in Qi Gong, Homeopathy, Energy Medicine, Tantra, and the mythopoetic journey of the soul.
After years of working with adult women and repeatedly hearing, “I wish I had learned this as a teen,” Lena felt called to focus on the delicate and powerful initiation into womanhood.
She is the curator of the New Moon Mystery School, a coming-of-age program teaching adolescent girls the physiological intelligence, cyclical wisdom, and foundational nourishment of menarche (first menstrual cycle) and menstruation. She also offers after-school and weekend programs in her local community, providing holistic education that thoughtfully extends beyond conventional sex ed and is rooted in consent, self-respect, and embodied awareness.

These different ways to say the SAME thing acknowledge that there is an order, a structure, a map to LIFE that supersedes human will; it is Nature's Design. Nature's Design is Rachelle's Greatest mentor, and her work is grounded in Nature's Thriving Life Principles.
Rachelle is a woman enamored with LIFE and with a burning fire to live into potential. She has a fierce inner fire that fueled by her passion to support others on their rewilding journey.
"I have discovered that getting offline and immersed in the wonders of nature have been crucial to navigating modern stressors with more resiliency. As a parent of two young men, I am well-versed in the many challenges that we are all facing as we consider the next generation and how our modern lifestyles can be detrimental to our mind, body Spirit and planet. In this unique and challenging time of global uncertainty, there is freedom and expansiveness through the inward journey of self-discovery and our personal engagement with the elements and natural world. Nature humbles us, she teaches us and we become more confident, compassionate and reverent humans in her presence".
