Starseed Root School is a response to the modern-day epidemics of depression, anxiety and stress and the need for community and ceremony; women’s health issues and environmental justice; and the legacy of oppression, the illusion of separation and the unification of the human-race.

We provide and promote preventative health care education and services to empower people. Our workshops, classes and ceremonies assist people in remembering and reclaiming their/our inherent inner power, as well as developing and applying skills that support living a more responsible, higher quality, awakened and aware existence.

Key Outcomes:

Innate Traditions offers unique educational opportunities to birth and health care professionals, as well as mentorship programs for young women, and support to families. The company is growing and we have an increasing number of clients/students to manage. We are doing several course launches per year. We are looking for a general/tech VA to join the team in order to contribute to the following key outcomes:

Successful launch of Innate’s 2021 Postpartum Care Online Course
Successful launch of Innate’s 2nd Physiologic Baby Care Course
Technical support for Innate's Fourth Cycle Mentorship Program.
Completion of migration of website + course platform on Kajabi.
Maintaining excellent student service and communication.
Freeing up more of Rachelle’s time and focus by providing administrative and communication support.

Job Description:

Our VA position will fill an important support role on our team, with a focus on enabling other team members to free up time and energy as we continue to grow. Primary responsibilities will include interfacing with Rachelle and our Business Operations Manager, Fadima, utilizing web-based technologies, email, communicating with students, and creating reports.

This position reports to Fadima, who will train you and assign daily/weekly tasks to you. We estimate this position to be 5 hours a week to start with, and more during launch periods; up to 15 hours per week. There is potential to grow for someone who is looking for long-term collaboration.

Skills and qualities:

Ability to excel using web-based technology platforms (example list below)
Interested in Maternal Health as a catalyst to Thriving Life
Detail-oriented, with ability to track multiple projects or threads
Professional organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible: Able to handle occasional last-minute requests
Basic knowledge of customer journey and sales process online
Experience with/ interest in online course launches

Technology and Platforms:

Experience required in at least 3 or more of the following systems:

Mailchimp - potentially ConvertKit
Kajabi
Knowledge and experience of email automation and funnels
Loom
Vimeo - video editing skills is a big +
Zoom
Word, Excel
Calendly
PM & collaboration tools: Trello / Asana or Basecamp
Google Suite
Zapier

Tasks & Responsibilities:

organize content into folders (Canva, Google drive)
schedule newsletters & email sequences
customer support: answer customer emails diligently
customer support: admin support during the onboarding phase
customer support: follow-up students through the certification process
follow-up defaulting payments
update web pages, directory & course pages

Availability & Time Zone

The ideal candidate timezone should be between GMT/BST (London, UK) and MST (Denver, CO). Ideally EST (East Coast, NYC).

You must be available during typical work hours in your timezone, in order to effectively communicate with our other team members.

Availability during weekends is needed during launch periods.

Position begins February 1st.

Compensation

This is a contracting position - candidate must be self-employed

Compensation is around $25 per hour, depending on experience.
